Handle and coordinate import and export shipments from booking until final delivery.
Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, agents, suppliers, transporters, customers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth shipment operations.
Arrange vessel bookings, container arrangements, trucking and delivery schedules.
Prepare and check shipping documents, including Bill of Lading (BL), House Bill of Lading (HBL), Delivery Order (D/O), invoices, packing lists and other relevant documents.
Monitor vessel schedules, ETD, ETA, transshipment and shipment status, and provide timely updates to customers.
Coordinate customs clearance and ensure all required documents are submitted correctly and on time.
Follow up on customs approvals, permits, cargo releases and other regulatory requirements.
Handle customer enquiries and provide updates regarding shipment status, charges and operational matters.
Coordinate with overseas agents and partners for smooth handling of shipments at origin and destination.
Ensure shipping documents and operational records are properly maintained and filed.
Resolve shipment issues, delays, documentation discrepancies and other operational matters promptly.
Ensure all shipments are handled according to company procedures and customer requirements.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
