Role Description This is a full-time Insurance Agent role based in Kuantan with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office-based activities with some work-from-home flexibility. The Insurance Agent will identify prospective clients, explain PruBSN Takaful products, and recommend suitable takaful and insurance solutions that meet individual and family needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, preparing quotations, handling applications, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, supporting claims processes, and providing high-quality customer service. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with team members, participate in training, and work towards achieving sales and service targets while upholding Shariah-compliant and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Insurance Sales and a solid understanding of Insurance products and principles.
• Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage and advisory services.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Finance, including personal financial planning concepts.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build long-term client relationships.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a consultative and ethical approach to selling.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment (office and remote).
• Comfort with using digital tools and online platforms for client communication and documentation.
• Prior experience in insurance, takaful, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in finance, business, or related fields is preferred.
• Willingness to attend training, obtain required licenses or certifications, and comply with regulatory and Shariah guidelines.
