• Perform mechanical engineering for mechanical devices, components, engines, environmental control, material handling etc.

• Assist manager in implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput.

• Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints.

• The engineer may also be inspector to make sure that the equipment works properly before the ship is launched.

• Work may involve travelling to project sites.

• Manufacturing lead time reduction.

Competency Requirements

• Diploma or degree holder in engineering field, preferably in mechanical engineering or   relevant working experience.

• Good in doing research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modeling and computer-aided design.

• Good communication and presentation skill.

• Highly motivated.

• Ability to develop, implement and administer human resources and/or employee development programs.
