About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance Welder to join our Plant Maintenance & Facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for structural fabrication, machine modifications, and ongoing mechanical maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operations and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, and grinding on structural steel, machine frames, piping, and others related tasks.

• Inspect, service, and repair manufacturing plant machinery, conveyors, jigs, dies, and material-handling equipment.

• Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns, troubleshooting structural wear, cracked components, and metal fatigue to minimize production downtime.

• Rebuild and modify worn metal components, machine guards, brackets, and structural frames according to engineering drawings and sketches.

• Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, factory safety regulations, hot work permit protocols, and 5S plant housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• SKM Level 2/3 in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training.

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on welding experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial plant maintenance environment.
