We're Hiring: Executive, Accounts Petaling Jaya, Selangor | Salary: RM5,000

Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA) is looking for a detail-oriented Executive, Accounts to manage our full set of accounts and support the Association's financial operations.

We are a leading organisation representing Malaysia's plastics industry, driving a sustainable and competitive sector through government liaison, strategic alliances, specialised training, and environmental stewardship.

What You'll Do

• Handle full set of accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting
• Prepare and issue invoices, submit e-Invoices to LHDN, and follow up on payments
• Manage employee claims, leave applications, attendance, and payroll
• Oversee cash flow to ensure smooth payment processing
• Prepare annual budgets, consolidated financial statements, and cash flow projections
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax consultants, company secretary, and relevant authorities
• Support general administrative and ad-hoc duties
• Bonus: knowledge of SST, tax, and PSMB processes

What We're Looking For

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–5 years' experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in full set accounting and payroll
• Familiarity with SQL Accounting Software preferred
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and statutory requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
