Video Editor | Content Editor — HUNTR GAMES

CAN YOU MAKE PEOPLE KEEP WATCHING?

HUNTR GAMES is looking for a Video Editor / Content Editor who understands that great editing is not just about making videos look good.

It is about attention, retention, pacing, story, humour, emotion and competition.

Sometimes, a better first 2 seconds matters more than a better colour grade.

Your job is simple:

Make the content perform better.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Edit TikToks, Reels, Shorts and HUNTR original shows
• Turn raw footage into clear, entertaining stories
• Build strong hooks and opening seconds
• Edit for retention, pacing and payoff
• Create multiple versions and hook variations
• Use reactions, sound, captions and timing effectively
• Repurpose one shoot into multiple content pieces
• Produce fast reactive and event-day edits
• Work closely with our Content Strategist and Shooter
• Review performance and improve future edits

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Understands why people stop watching
• Knows when to cut aggressively
• Has strong storytelling instincts
• Understands short-form social behaviour
• Can create tension, humour and emotion through editing
• Is fast, creative and resourceful
• Is comfortable testing different versions
• Can take feedback without getting attached to an edit
• Looks at performance data and asks: “Why did they leave?”

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Comfortable with at least one of:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Final Cut Pro
• CapCut

Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, Photoshop, Lightroom or AI editing tools is a bonus.

WE CARE LESS ABOUT

Fancy transitions.
Cinematic LUTs.
Expensive plugins.
Overcomplicated motion graphics.

Because none of them matter if: People swipe away.
