Job Summary

Responsible for preparing, producing, decorating, and presenting a variety of pastries, cakes, bread, and other baked products according to established recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, bread, desserts, and other bakery products.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes and production requirements.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and other related machinery.
• Prepare dough, batter, fillings, creams, icings, and decorations.
• Decorate and finish pastries and cakes according to product specifications.
• Monitor baking time, temperature, texture, appearance, and overall product quality.
• Ensure all products meet the company's standards for taste, appearance, freshness, and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry preparation and production areas.
• Store ingredients and finished products properly to maintain freshness and food safety.
• Check ingredient stocks and report shortages or damaged materials to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with packaging, labelling, and preparation of finished products for delivery or sale.
• Perform other pastry-making and bakery-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pastry making, baking, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques, and food hygiene.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules accurately.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
