Konzept Garden is one of Malaysia’s leading landscape design and garden product companies, specializing in landscape design, koi ponds, water features, artificial grass, vertical gardens, planters, and outdoor living solutions since 2008.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a landscape designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients or customer service teams to understand clients’ vision, preferences, and project objectives.
• On-site visits to gather relevant information and assess project areas by conducting precise site measurements.
• Create detailed 2D & 3D landscape design drawings, including plant placement, hardscape elements, and irrigation systems.
• Develop compelling project presentations, present and articulate design proposals to clients, addressing their requirements.
• Prepare detailed project quotations, considering all aspects of design, materials, and labor costs.
• Close sales through effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Address client concerns and modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate the delivery of landscaping materials to project sites.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess installation progression, ensure execution and installation align with the approved design and client expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Customer Service and Installer team, to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely updates to customers
• Take charge of the procurement process for building materials related to landscape design and installation.
• Responsible for stock control to ensure optimal inventory levels for ongoing and upcoming projects with detail reports of stock movement.
• Competent in calculating construction cost (Eg able to calculate 1 ton of sand can be used for how much land in sqft.
• Update stock quantity from warehouse and assist stock count
• Preparation and issuance of quotations for materials and services with competitive pricing.
• Issue computerized daily sales order
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in the Purchase Order (PO) process for issuance of POs to supplier.

Requirements

• Language: Proficiency in English, and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written) is essential to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
• Design Skills: Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate client visions into compelling design concepts。
• Organizational Skills: Effective project coordination and time management skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt designs to various environmental and client requirements.
• Teamwork: Capability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate site measurements.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer queries and issues effectively.
• Interpersonal Skills: Patience and a positive customer service approach. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
