Role: Group Accountant

What You’ll Do

• Prepare group consolidation and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities
• Manage and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes at the group level
• Ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS and statutory requirements across all entities
• Lead and manage the full external audit process, including planning, coordination, and timely resolution of audit queries
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax agents, ensuring smooth and efficient audit execution
• Review financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate with country finance teams to ensure consistency in accounting treatment and reporting standards
• Monitor and manage intercompany transactions, balances, and reconciliations
• Strengthen and maintain internal controls, financial processes, and audit readiness
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support business decision-making
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at the group level

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years of relevant experience (external audit experience is a strong advantage)
• Hands-on experience in group consolidation (regional/multi-entity exposure preferred)
• Strong understanding of MFRS/IFRS and statutory compliance
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across regional teams

Nice to Have

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent)
• Experience in digital, media, or tech industries
• Prior exposure to regional or multi-entity environments
