This role provides hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle to support your Part 3 licensure. You will work on authority submissions, on-site coordination, and design development to build experience required for full architectural registration.
Responsibilities:
- Be heavily involved in architectural design, guiding projects from initial concept and schematic design through to design development and construction documentation.
- Take ownership of preparing and developing design drawings, submission drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
- Assist the team in conducting feasibility studies, crafting design proposals, and creating compelling presentation materials.
- Prepare essential tender drawings, alongside schedules and material specifications.
- Actively liaise and coordinate with clients, external consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth project progress.
- Gain critical regulatory experience by participating in the authority submission process and ensuring full compliance with local building by-laws and regulations.
- Provide support in project coordination and site matters, which includes actively attending meetings and site visits when required.
- Act as the guardian of the project's vision, ensuring the original design intent and quality are maintained throughout all project stages.
