We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Assistant to support the preparation and coordination of technical drawings for roofing, wall cladding, façade, and steel structure projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong drafting capabilities, sound technical knowledge of building envelope systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, production teams, and site personnel. This role is suited for a hands-on drafting professional who can independently produce accurate construction drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure project submissions meet required

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, construction details, and as-built drawings.
• Develop roof layouts, wall cladding layouts, flashing details, and installation drawings.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies and coordination issues.
• Perform quantity take-offs and material estimations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Attend project coordination meetings when required.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and Malaysian construction standards.

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of drafting experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in roofing, wall cladding, façade systems, steel structures, or building envelope works is highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Familiar with preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, construction details, and as-built drawings.
• Strong knowledge of metal roofing, standing seam roofing, wall cladding systems, flashing details, gutters, downpipes, waterproofing, and related construction detailing.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
