Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Lead equipment engineers and technicians in painting, painting robot, injection, assembly/tailgate areas, set team KPIs, carry out performance assessment, skill training and talent development, build a stable equipment management team.
• System Establishment: Establish and improve plant-wide equipment management system, formulate preventive maintenance plan, rapid fault response mechanism, equipment operation specifications and other systems and processes, promote standardized equipment management.
• Equipment O&M Management: Coordinate plant-wide equipment fault response, organize major equipment fault repair, regularly analyze equipment downtime causes, promote systematic improvement, achieve core KPIs including plant OEE and unplanned downtime rate.
• Cost & Spare Parts Management: Formulate plant-wide spare parts inventory strategy, review spare parts purchasing plan, reasonably control spare parts inventory level and maintenance cost, achieve equipment maintenance cost budget target.
• Modification & New Projects: Coordinate equipment technical modification and automation upgrade projects, lead new production line/new equipment installation, commissioning and SAT acceptance, support new projects to achieve mass production on SOP schedule.
• TPM Promotion: Promote TPM system across the whole plant, train production department staff on daily equipment inspection and basic maintenance skills, promote the implementation of total employee equipment management culture.
• EHS Compliance Management: Implement equipment safety management requirements, regularly organize plant-wide equipment safety inspection, promote safety hazard rectification, ensure all equipment comply with Malaysia DOSH and plant EHS specifications, prevent equipment safety accidents.
• Vendor Management: Manage all original equipment manufacturers, maintenance service providers, spare parts suppliers, regularly evaluate vendor service quality and price level, optimize external maintenance cost, ensure maintenance response timeliness.
• Asset Management: Establish plant-wide equipment asset ledger and full lifecycle files, manage equipment technical drawings, maintenance records, ensure clear equipment assets and complete technical data.
• Complete other temporary tasks assigned by superior.

Required Qualifications

• College degree or above, major in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Equipment Engineering or relevant disciplines, bachelor degree is preferred.
• More than 5 years equipment working experience in automotive parts industry, more than 3 years experience as equipment team supervisor
• Experience in equipment management of automotive exterior plant (full process of injection + painting + assembly) is preferred, familiar with mainstream painting robots, large-tonnage injection molding machines and painting line equipment operation and maintenance.
• English can be used as working language, fluent in reading and writing, able to communicate with foreign suppliers and headquarters, understand English equipment technical documents and contracts.
• Proficient in Office software (Excel data statistics and analysis), able to read CAD drawings, familiar with EAM/CMMS equipment management system operation.
• Must willing to attend 3-6 months overseas training

Pay: RM3,900.00 - RM5,600.00 per month
