Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-oriented Customer Service Executive to join our team in Ipoh. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, coordinating shipment arrangements, providing shipment updates, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
• Attend to customer requests, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate with the operations team, warehouse, drivers and other relevant departments to ensure smooth shipment arrangements.
• Provide customers with accurate updates on shipment status, delivery schedules and related matters.
• Follow up on pending shipments, deliveries, documents and customer requests.
• Prepare and maintain customer service records, reports and necessary documentation.
• Liaise with customers regarding pickup, delivery and shipment requirements.
• Ensure customer information and shipment details are updated accurately in the system.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding issues until proper resolution is achieved.
• Escalate operational or customer-related issues to the supervisor or manager when necessary.
• Maintain good working relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, logistics, freight forwarding or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with logistics or transportation operations will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, organised, proactive and customer-oriented.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to be based in Ipoh, Perak.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
