Joining this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a project management team that focuses on ceiling & drywall partition works for commercial projects, where you will gain hands-on exposure in cost management, project coordination, and construction operations. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build a strong foundation in quantity surveying within a supportive and professional environment.

What you'll be doing?

Assist Cost Management: Support the senior QS team in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and project budgeting activities.

Prepare Documentation: Assist in preparing progress claims, variation orders, quotations, tender documents, and contract administration records.

Monitor Project Costs: Track project expenses, material usage, and subcontractor claims to ensure projects stay within budget.

Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.

Site Measurement & Verification: Carry out site measurements, verify work progress, and assist in valuation processes.

Support Procurement Activities: Assist in sourcing quotations, comparing prices, and preparing purchase recommendations.

Maintain Records & Reporting: Ensure proper filing, documentation, and preparation of cost reports and project updates.

Who are we looking for?

Education: Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related construction field.

Fresh Graduates Welcome: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1 year of relevant experience in fit-out or construction projects will have an added advantage.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction materials, measurement methods, contracts, and cost control processes.

Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office 365. Familiarity with AutoCAD or QS-related software will be an added advantage.

Skills: Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Traits: Responsible, willing to learn, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Flexibility: Willing to travel or work at project sites within Malaysia when required.
