Full Time QC INSPECTOR Jobs, salary up to MYR 3,000 in Angsana Tunas Sdn Bhd Shah Alam - Ricebowl

We are looking for a motivated QC Inspector to join our fabrication team, focusing on the quality inspection of steel structure fabrication works. This position is suitable for fresh graduates with a background in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field who are interested in developing their career in Quality Control and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform inspection and quality control activities for steel structure fabrication works.

* Conduct incoming material inspection, including verification of material certificates, dimensions, identification and traceability.

* Inspect fabrication activities including cutting, fit-up, welding, dimensional checks and visual inspection.

* Verify fabrication works comply with approved drawings, specifications, WPS and applicable codes/standards.

* Perform and record weld visual inspection (VT) and dimensional inspection.

* Monitor welding activities to ensure compliance with approved WPS and project requirements.

* Coordinate with NDT personnel for required NDT examinations.

* Review NDT reports and ensure inspection results meet project acceptance criteria.

* Prepare inspection reports, checklists, inspection requests and other QC documentation.

* Maintain material and weld traceability, weld maps and inspection records.

* Identify non-conforming works and assist in preparing NCRs and corrective actions.

* Coordinate with production/fabrication teams to resolve quality issues.

* Ensure proper calibration and validity of inspection and measuring equipment.

* Participate in inspection activities with clients, consultants and third-party inspectors when required.

* Perform other QC-related duties assigned by the QC Engineer/QC Manager.

Requirements:

* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering or related field.

* Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

* Basic knowledge of welding and steel fabrication processes.

* Basic understanding of engineering drawings and welding symbols.

* Able to perform basic dimensional measurements using measuring tools such as vernier caliper, measuring tape and weld gauge.

* Good attention to detail and willingness to work in a fabrication yard environment.

* Willing to learn and develop skills in welding inspection and quality control.

* Able to communicate and work effectively with production and engineering teams.

* Willing to work overtime when required by project schedule.

Added Advantages:

* Knowledge of WPS/PQR, WQT, NDT and weld inspection.

* Familiarity with standards such as AWS D1.1, ASME, ISO/EN

* Experience with steel structure fabrication, even through internship.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
