Position Title: Construction Engineer

Work Location: Peninsular Malaysia

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

1. Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and determine project requirements.
2. Plan and manage construction of major civil projects such as buildings, piping works, structural steel fabrications, Electrical and Instrument installation
3. Manage subcontractors at site
4. Develop construction specifications, method statement and procedures
5. Evaluate and recommend appropriate piping, building and construction materials.
6. Interpret, review and approve site fabrication drawings
7. Ensure construction plans meet guidelines, specifications and design
8. Establish, monitor, maintain and update construction work schedules.
9. Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects.
10. Review variation order and provide justification for approval

REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any relevant Engineering background ( Mechanical, Electrical or etc.)
2. At least 5 years working experience in construction related projects buildings, piping works, structural steel, Electrical and instrument
3. Fluent in spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applicable software programs.
5. General knowledge of office protocol, routines and pr Ability to procedures
6. General knowledge of civil and mechanical designs & HSE related procedures
