Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to multitask with minimum supervision.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and follow-up skills.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• English required; Mandarin an advantage; knowledge of other languages advantageous.
• Willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
• Preferably Junior Executive specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts.
• Prepare management performance review, forecast and analysis upon request.
• Prepare yearly budget, control and monitor budget spending (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly).
• Review, verify & monitor daily accounting and financial operations including purchase orders, payment vouchers, petty cash, journals, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, client trust balances, intercompany billing, etc.
• Assist in SST preparation including review & submission.
• Review & monitor fixed assets register and ensure records/reports are properly maintained.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents to ensure statutory compliance.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing and monitoring finance & account policies, procedures and internal control documents.
• Monitor/supervise daily finance operations to ensure smooth running.
• Review & monitor daily cash flow planning.
• Assist in preparation and review of regulatory reports.
• Ensure accounting functions and controls meet deadlines and minimize risks.
• Contribute to improving effectiveness & efficiency of the finance & accounts department.
• Handle ad-hoc matters/projects, office administration and other operational matters.
