About Total Communication Therapy

Total Communication Therapy (TCT) is a specialist paediatric practice supporting children and adolescents in the areas of language, learning, executive functioning, social communication, thinking, and problem-solving.

We work closely with children, families, schools, and professionals to provide a warm, professional, and supportive environment for every child we serve.

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Administrative Assistant (Internship/Temporary) to support our day-to-day centre operations for approximately 1–2 months.

This opportunity is also open to Psychology, Marketing, Education, Communications, and related students or graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in a professional paediatric therapy environment.

What You Will Gain

Please note: This is not a clinical therapist position. Any observation or exposure to therapy sessions will be subject to therapist approval, client consent, confidentiality requirements, and centre policies.

Key Responsibilities

You will support the team with:

• Opening and closing the centre as required.
• Welcoming clients and families.
• Assisting with basic client enquiries and directing queries to the appropriate team member.
• Supporting appointment and session-related administrative matters.
• Assisting therapists and management with simple administrative tasks.
• Preparing documents, printing, scanning, filing, and other general office duties.
• Keeping the reception and common areas organised and presentable.
• Supporting basic marketing or communications tasks where relevant to your background and skills.
• Supporting the smooth running of daily centre operations.
