Requirements

Must-Have

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, UI/UX Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript or another programming language.
• Interest in designing and developing web or mobile applications.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work with both design and development teams.

Good to Have

• Experience creating a personal website, mobile app, prototype, or academic project.
• Basic knowledge of Flutter and Dart, React Native, React.js, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git or other version-control tools.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Firebase, or database concepts.
• Experience conducting user interviews, surveys, or usability testing.
• A portfolio, GitHub profile, prototype, or link to a completed project.

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is commonly included for app or UI/UX internships, while Flutter, React Native, APIs, Firebase, and Git are useful additional skills depending on the development scope 

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated UI/UX & App Development Intern to support the design and development of user-friendly web and mobile applications. This role combines interface design, prototyping, basic frontend development, testing, and documentation.You will work closely with the product, design, and development teams to turn business requirements into practical app features and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design

• Assist in designing user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Create user-friendly interfaces using Figma or similar design tools.
• Apply basic principles of layout, typography, colour, spacing, and responsive design.
• Maintain consistency across screens, components, and design assets.
• Review user feedback and assist with improving app usability.

App Development Support

• Assist in converting approved designs into functional web or mobile app interfaces.
• Support basic frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other relevant technologies.
• Assist with mobile app development using Flutter, React Native, or another suitable framework, where applicable.
• Work with APIs, databases, or backend services under supervision.
• Help troubleshoot basic UI and functionality issues.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Conduct basic functional and usability testing on web and mobile applications.
• Test app layouts across different screen sizes and devices.
• Identify, document, and report bugs clearly.
• Assist with regression testing after updates or fixes.
• Verify that implemented features match the approved design.

Product and Team Collaboration

• Participate in discussions about app features, user requirements, and product improvements.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are technically practical.
• Support the preparation of product specifications, user flows, and technical documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
• Carry out other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.
