Arrange and coordinate shipment bookings with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, agents, and other service providers.
Coordinate import and export shipment schedules, including ETD and ETA updates.
Liaise with customers regarding booking status, shipment schedules, and shipment updates.
Coordinate closely with internal departments, including Operations, Transport, Customs, and Billing, to ensure smooth shipment movement.
Ensure shipment details, booking information, and documentation are accurate and updated in the system.
Monitor booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and shipment changes.
Maintain proper records and ensure all booking information is accurately updated in the system.
Follow up on shipment issues and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve booking-related matters promptly.
Communicate with overseas offices, agents, and customers when required.
Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or customer service will have an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of import/export and freight forwarding processes is an advantage.
Good command of Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, as the role requires communication with overseas offices, agents, and customers.
Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Willing to learn, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
