About Valo
Valo Learning Center is a new premium early childhood centre in Bukit Damansara, opening September 2026. We follow a Finnish-inspired, play-based approach for children aged 18 months to 6 years, delivered across five rooms in a calm, high-standard environment. We are building our founding team.
The Role
You are the first person every parent meets — on the phone, at the door, and on their first visit. You manage enquiries from first contact through to enrolment, host centre tours alongside our leadership team, and keep the centre's records, billing and accounts accurate and on time.
This is a broad, hands-on role combining front-of-house presence with real financial responsibility. It suits someone organised and numerate, warm with people, and comfortable representing a premium brand.
Reports to the Head of Operations.

Front of house and admissions
Manage reception: greet parents and visitors, answer calls and enquiries, control door access
Respond to prospective parent enquiries promptly and schedule centre tours
Support and host centre tours for prospective families, and follow up after each visit
Maintain an accurate enquiry and enrolment pipeline, tracking every family from first contact to decision
Process enrolment documentation and maintain child and family records
Accounts and payroll
Issue fee invoices, record receipts, track payments and follow up on outstanding accounts
Maintain accounts payable: process supplier invoices and prepare payments for approval
Perform monthly bank reconciliation and maintain accurate bookkeeping records
Prepare monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime and claims
Support statutory submissions — EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB — and year-end EA form preparation
Prepare monthly financial summaries for the Head of Operations and School Director

Order and manage office and classroom supplies
Provide administrative support to the School Director and Head of Operations

Minimum 3 years' experience covering both administration and accounts or bookkeeping
Working knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements — EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB
Hands-on experience with accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, Xero or similar)
Strong Excel skills and a high standard of numerical accuracy
Confident and articulate in person — comfortable hosting families and speaking about the centre
Fluent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage
Absolute discretion in handling confidential staff and family information
Warm, professional manner with parents and children
Must pass background screening in line with our child safeguarding requirements
What We Offer
