Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring according to recipes.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times.
• Store food properly and ensure stock is rotated using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing food deliveries.
• Report any equipment faults, shortages, or food quality issues to the Chef de Partie.
• Minimize food wastage and handle ingredients responsibly.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Comply with hotel policies, grooming standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Chef or immediate supervisor.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
