Follow up with overseas agents on complete pre-alert documents.
Open job files in the SOVY system and ensure accurate data entry.
Submit correction manifests to carriers/co-loaders and follow up on arrival notices.
Provide shipment details, updates, and feedback to customers promptly.
Prepare costing and billing; ensure payment is collected (for cash customers) prior to releasing the Delivery Order (DO) / Electronic Delivery Order (EDO) / Import Invoice Document (IID).
Ensure all process flows are updated accurately in the SOVY system before submission of job folders for closing.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement and timely delivery.
Handle multiple customer accounts and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain proper documentation and filing in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company, preferably in seafreight import/export operations.
Strong knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documentation.
Ability to handle multiple customers and shipments simultaneously.
Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage, as the role involves communication with China-based customers.
Familiarity with documentation processes, carriers, and co-loaders.
Knowledge of the SOVY system is an advantage (training can be provided).
Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
