To be able to prepare and dispense medications to patients according to the instructions of the doctor
To be able to contact the prescriber when in doubt regarding the prescribed medications.
To supply drugs to the wards and units according to the required par levels.
To assist for drug inventory management which includes but not limited to the receiving, supply and storage of Psychotropic and Dangerous Drugs.
To be able to prepare extemporaneous medications which are in accordance to special need of the patients.
To assist in performing quarterly stock checks within the department as well as in the wards.
To assist in all pharmacy department quality improvement activities including ward checks, drug expiry date monitoring, data collection for reports and etc.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Malaysian Pharmacy Board.
Possess relevant knowledge and experience in handling Psychotropic and Dangerous Drugs.
Having experience in Chemotherapy Drug Reconstitution (CDR) setup an added advantage.
Good communication skills both written and verbal in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to communicate in multi-lingual will be an added advantage.
Minimum 1 (One) year of working experience in the hospital setting. However, fresh graduates who are academically outstanding are encouraged to apply.
