Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to support our finance team in managing daily accounting tasks and project-related financial activities. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, handling billing processes, and supporting cost tracking for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and official receipts
• Assist in progress billing and claims submission to clients
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accounting systems (SQL Accounting)
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow
• Track project-related costs including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses
• Verify supplier invoices and subcontractor claims
• Assist in preparing monthly financial and project cost reports
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Liaise with project managers, site personnel, suppliers, and clients on payment matters
• Follow up on outstanding payments
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
• Checking each GL
• Advantage on Excel is priority

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience (construction industry preferred)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software (AutoCount, SQL Accounting, or similar)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling construction project accounts or progress claims
• Understanding of cost tracking and budget control
