Company Description MIE INDUSTRIAL SDN BHD is engaged in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning of complex industrial projects, including the EMSB CGC & RD and Ethane Maximizing (EMAX) projects for Ethylene Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The company collaborates closely with leading engineering partners such as Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions. Its work involves detailed electrical and instrumentation design in accordance with Petronas Technical Specifications and local regulatory requirements. The organization emphasizes precise technical documentation, safety-focused layouts, and effective team coordination throughout the construction lifecycle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Monitor and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
2. Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on project progress, quality, and any issues or defects identified
3. Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of materials and labour
4. Review and verify construction methodologies, work procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
5. Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including daily logs, material testing results, and quality assurance documentation
6. Identify and resolve construction-related technical issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions
7. Liaise with structural engineers and project managers to communicate progress updates and address any design or construction challenges
8. Ensure all work meets structural integrity requirements and adheres to relevant building codes and standards
9. Support health and safety initiatives on-site and ensure all personnel comply with safety requirements
10. Assist in project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control measures

QUALIFICATION

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
2. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in construction engineering or site management within civil and structural engineering projects / data centre.
3. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
