Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Lead and manage end-to-end retail projects from planning, execution, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.
- Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
Store Allocation & Inventory Strategy
- Develop and implement store allocation strategies to ensure the right products are allocated to the right stores at the right time.
- Optimize inventory distribution based on sales performance, store demand, and business priorities.
- Support initial allocation, replenishment, stock balancing, and inventory optimization across retail stores.
- Coordinate inventory planning for new store openings, store expansions, and business initiatives.
Business Analysis & Performance Monitoring
- Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, and operational data to identify business opportunities and improvement areas.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support business decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements and data-driven solutions to enhance inventory productivity and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key retail metrics such as sales performance, stock availability, inventory turnover, and service levels.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Warehouse, IT, Business Development and other business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, gather business requirements, and align stakeholders on project objectives and deliverables.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to support continuous business improvements.
Retail Operations Improvement
- Review and improve retail allocation, replenishment, and inventory management processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to improve productivity, data accuracy, and service levels.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process standardization, automation, and best practices.
- Support business transformation initiatives that improve retail operations and inventory performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, project management, merchandise planning, category management, store allocation, inventory planning, replenishment, or supply chain.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end retail projects, including business requirement gathering, project planning, system implementation, UAT, go-live, and post-implementation support.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandise planning, inventory management, store allocation, replenishment, supply chain processes, and new store openings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with SQL, Python, ERP, POS, or retail management systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, monitor business KPIs, optimize inventory performance, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence business decisions.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
