Requirements & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management systems, or any relevant qualification from a recognized university is required. Additionally, holding both a degree and a diploma in a related field is considered an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in change management, release management, project coordination, or a related role within a technology-driven operational environment, with experience owning or being accountable for a process or function considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of change and release management practices, and of the software development and release lifecycle for client-facing products.
- Familiarity with management system, framework and regulatory requirements related to information security, business continuity, occupational safety & health, artificial intelligence, or payment card industry, sufficient to assess the governance impact of changes.
- Working knowledge of risk and impact assessment and fallback planning.
- Analytical skills, interpersonal and presentation abilities, and proficiency in computer use, including information mapping.
- Interacts well with all levels of Employee and with external Clients where required.
- Experience as an Internal Auditor would be an added advantage.
- Good written and communication skills for both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Able to work independently with very minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Own, maintain, and drive continual improvement of the organization's change management process and its associated documentation, ensuring it remains effective, repeatable, and aligned with the Management System.
- Coordinate change requests end-to-end, ensuring requests are properly raised, assessed, decided, and communicated through to completion.
- Facilitate the assessment of change impact, risk, and cost, and ensure decisions are escalated to and approved by the appropriate authority with the justification recorded.
- Ensure change impact assessments consider all applicable governance, compliance, risk, and control requirements in accordance with the Management System prior to implementation.
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and implementation of approved changes with the relevant parties, ensuring readiness and appropriate controls are in place.
- Govern the release of changes to clients, ensuring required testing and supporting evidence are completed before deployment is authorized.
- Verify and confirm the outcome of implemented changes and ensure any required follow-up actions are addressed.
- Formalize the closure of changes by evaluating effectiveness, gathering feedback, documenting lessons learned, and updating related documentation.
- Maintain change records, registers, and logs to support traceability, reporting, and effective management oversight, and ensure records are retained in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Manage emergency changes appropriately, ensuring they are notified, documented, and reviewed in line with the change management process.
- Provide change management reporting and metrics to support management review and decision-making.
- Provide guidance and awareness to employees and relevant stakeholders on the change management process and requirements.
- Perform any other task as assigned by the Head of Finance & Compliance and Compliance Lead.
