Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our daily accounting and administrative operations. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions and preparing accounting documents.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries and filing.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and credit notes.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Perform bank reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing and processing monthly staff payroll, including salary calculations, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions.
• Manage petty cash and staff claims.
• Maintain proper accounting records and document filing.
• Assist with monthly account closing and report preparation.
• Support SST, e-Invoice and audit documentation.
• Assist with vehicle-related transactions and sales documentation.
• Perform general administrative duties when required.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the Accounts Executive or management.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous accounting experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with SQL is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Careful, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.
