Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading engineering and construction organisation specialising in large-scale infrastructure and data centre projects, to hire a Project Planner / Scheduler.

The Challenge

Take ownership of project planning and scheduling for engineering and construction projects, ensuring timelines remain realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives from tender through execution.

Join a collaborative project team where you'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams, leveraging Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to drive successful project delivery on high-profile projects.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend recovery or mitigation plans.
• Prepare project reports, including S-curves, bar charts, and critical path analysis.
• Support tender planning, baseline schedule development, and schedule impact analysis.
• Coordinate project schedules with cost control, resource planning, and client requirements.

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of planning or scheduling experience within the construction or engineering industry.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Good understanding of resource planning, project scheduling, project controls, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong reporting capabilities.
