WE'RE HIRING: KITCHEN CREW (HOT KITCHEN)
Cococraft Bakehouse, Ipoh

Cococraft Bakehouse is looking for a Kitchen Crew member to join our Hot Kitchen team, preparing Western-style dishes. Candidates with some cooking experience are encouraged to apply; full training will be provided to help you master our recipes and standards.

Job Scope & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook hot food items
• Follow standard recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent taste and quality
• Handle grilling, frying, and pan-cooking stations
• Prep ingredients — marinating, sauce-making, portioning proteins and vegetables
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of cooking stations and equipment
• Manage stock rotation and ingredient storage (FIFO system)
• Follow food safety and SOP guidelines at all times
• Be flexible to rotate to other departments (e.g. Pastry) as required by business needs
• Support other kitchen tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Some cooking experience preferred
• Willing to learn Western/hot kitchen cooking techniques
• Willing to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Good attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to be cross-trained across departments
• Able to work 6 days a week (rest day to be arranged)

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic salary from RM1,800/month
• EPF, SOCSO & EIS contributions provided
• Overtime (OT) pay applicable
• On-the-job training provided
