The Assembly Engineer is responsible for carrying out hands-on machine assembly and coordinating assembly activities with business partners and internal teams. The role ensures machines are assembled according to engineering drawings, quality standards, technical requirements, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on machine assembly, fitting, installation, and alignment.
• Assemble machines according to engineering drawings and technical requirements.
• Coordinate assembly work with business partners and internal teams.
• Inspect machine quality and workmanship.
• Identify and resolve assembly or component issues.
• Support machine testing, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning.
• Monitor assembly progress to meet project schedules.
• Improve assembly methods, quality, and efficiency.
• Travel to business partner facilities or customer sites when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong hands-on skills are encouraged to apply.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly, pneumatics, piping, fitting, or fabrication.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate with and support business partners in China and Taiwan.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Responsible, organised, and willing to travel.
