Role Description The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Subang Jaya, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including startups and organizations that can benefit from AI-driven and digital solutions. The Business Development Manager will develop and maintain client relationships, conduct market research, prepare proposals, and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing. Day-to-day tasks include presenting ClazzyTech’s services and academy offerings, collaborating with the technical and marketing teams, attending meetings and events, and providing feedback on market needs to guide product and service development. The position involves setting clear growth targets, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring a high standard of client communication and service.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Candidates should possess client relationship skills such as stakeholder management, account management, and the ability to deliver clear, professional presentations.
• Candidates should possess market analysis and strategic planning skills, including research, opportunity assessment, and development of go-to-market strategies.
• Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and cross-functional coordination.
• Candidates should possess basic understanding of IT, software development, and AI/ML concepts, with the ability to explain technical solutions in accessible language.
• Candidates should possess organizational and self-management skills, including time management, prioritization, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid setup.
• Relevant experience in tech startups, SaaS, or digital services, and familiarity with Lean Startup principles or similar methodologies is highly beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in business development or technology sectors, is preferred.
