- Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, greeting guests, and maintaining records
- Interviewing job candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications for the position
- Monitoring staff performance to ensure they are meeting standards of quality service and customer satisfaction
- Conducting audits to ensure that all aspects of the hotel are in compliance with legal requirements
- Assisting in the development and implementation of budgets for departments within the hotel
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure smooth operation of all departments
- Reviewing guest feedback and making recommendations to management regarding any issues or concerns
- Managing the staff of the hotel, including hiring, training, scheduling, disciplining, and firing employees as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the hotel industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and departmental coordination.
- Proficient in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
