Recruitment & Onboarding
- Sourcing & Screening: Coordinate job postings across various platforms, source candidate resumes, and screen applicants for construction-specific roles (e.g., Site Supervisors, Safety Officers, Operators, Laborers).
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and project directors.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Conduct reference checks, background verifications, and coordinate mandatory pre-employment medical examinations or safety inductions (e.g., CIDB green cards, OSHA-related safety compliance if applicable).
- Onboarding: Prepare employment contracts, facilitate smooth onboarding processes, and ensure new hires complete all required company and legal paperwork.
2. Payroll Administration
- Timesheet Management: Collect, verify, and reconcile weekly/monthly timesheets, attendance logs, and overtime records from various construction sites.
- Payroll Processing Support: Compute wages, allowances, site-specific allowances, deductions, and benefits, preparing accurate data inputs for monthly payroll processing.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure accurate handling of statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/tax deductions, or regional equivalents) and maintain records of tax withholdings.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Address and resolve payroll or wage queries from site workers and staff members promptly.
3. Documentation & HR Operations
- Personnel Records: Maintain and update digital and physical employee databases, ensuring strict confidentiality of personnel files.
- Project-Specific Documentation: Track worker deployment across different project sites, manage contract renewals, and handle documentation related to project-based transfers or terminations.
- Audit Readiness: Assist in preparing HR documentation and compliance audits regarding labor laws, health & safety certifications, and working hour regulations.
- Correspondence: Draft routine HR letters, employment verifications, memos, and disciplinary or leave documentation.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on HR experience. (Fresh graduate is acceptable)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel is a must for payroll tracking).
- Working knowledge of local employment acts, labor laws, and industrial relations regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail (critical for tracking multi-site payroll and records).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with diverse groups, ranging from corporate management to site laborers.
- High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential data.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
