The PW4 Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems associated with HVAC equipment, energy systems, and building services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Installation & Commissioning

Install and connect electrical systems for HVAC equipment, pumps, chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, and control panels.

Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems.

Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

2. Operation & Maintenance

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and control panels.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and rectify equipment failures promptly.

Maintain electrical switchboards, MCC panels, and power distribution systems.

Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) electrical regulations.

Adhere to electrical safety procedures and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) practices.

3. Documentation & Reporting

Maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment records.

Assist in the preparation of electrical testing and commissioning documentation.

4. Qualifications

Diploma / Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.

SKM (PW4) / ST (PW4)

5. Required Skills

Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics. Knowledge of switchboards, MCC panels, and electrical protection systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

6. Preferred Experience

Experience with chiller plants, pumps, AHUs, and cooling towers - BMS. Knowledge of energy-efficient building systems and sustainable engineering practices.

Pay: From RM2,300.00 per month
