Vacancy: Production Executive

Location: Semenyih, Selangor

We are looking for a proactive and organised Production Executive to join our food manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production planning, preparing production documentation, monitoring production progress, and ensuring efficient utilisation of manpower while maintaining compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Prepare, issue, and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), production work orders, and related production documents.
• Monitor daily production progress and ensure production targets are achieved according to schedule.
• Coordinate manpower allocation and optimise labour utilisation to improve productivity.
• Liaise closely with QA, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor raw material and packaging material availability and report any shortages that may impact production.
• Ensure production activities comply with GMP, HACCP, Halal, food safety, and company SOP requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and KPI data.
• Assist in investigating production issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production efficiency, minimise downtime, and reduce production losses and wastage.
• Support production trials, new product launches, process validation, and scale-up activities.
• Ensure housekeeping, safety, and good manufacturing practices are maintained throughout the production area.
• Perform any other duties, projects, or ad hoc responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of production planning, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and food safety requirements is an advantage.
• Good planning, coordination, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP/MRP systems will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
