Role Description The Technical Support Intern will assist the support team in responding to user issues, documenting cases, and contributing to the smooth operation of customer environments. This internship role is hybrid, based in Seri Kembangan with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling basic technical support requests, performing initial troubleshooting on hardware, software, and network-related problems, and escalating complex issues to senior team members. The intern will help maintain support logs, follow standard operating procedures, and contribute to customer satisfaction by providing clear, timely updates. Additional tasks may include assisting with system monitoring, preparing simple technical reports, and supporting internal projects related to infrastructure and cybersecurity services.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP).
• Basic knowledge of servers, virtualization, or cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
