About iMotorbike

iMotorbike is Southeast Asia's leading marketplace for used motorcycles, operating across Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan. We are transforming how people buy and sell motorcycles — making the process transparent, trusted, and seamless through technology, certified inspections, and end-to-end transaction support. As a fast-growing, founder-led company, we move quickly, build from first principles, and expect every team member to take real ownership.

Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Project Manager – Operations drives the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of operational initiatives across iMotorbike's bike lifecycle — from acquisition and inspection through refurbishment, listing, sale, delivery, and ownership transfer — across Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan. This role sits at the intersection of process, people, and systems: you will standardise workflows across countries, close execution gaps between departments and branches, and ensure that the CEO's operational priorities are translated into projects that land on time and deliver measurable impact.

This is a hands-on role in a lean, founder-led environment. You will own projects end-to-end — scoping, stakeholder alignment, execution, tracking, and reporting — rather than coordinating from the sidelines, and you will act as the CEO's execution arm on the ground across all three markets.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Own the full lifecycle of operational projects: define scope, objectives, timelines, resource needs, and success metrics
  • Translate the CEO's business priorities into structured project plans with clear milestones and owners
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Operations, Sales, Telesales, Logistics, Finance, and country/branch teams in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across markets, prioritising against business impact

Process Standardisation & Improvement

  • Map, document, and standardise core operational processes (e.g., bike intake, inspection, refurbishment, name/ownership transfer, delivery)
  • Identify bottlenecks, handover failures, and inefficiencies in the ops pipeline; design and implement corrective workflows
  • Build and maintain SOPs in partnership with department and country leads, and ensure adoption at branch level
  • Lead rollout of process changes across all markets, balancing regional consistency with local regulatory and market differences (e.g., ownership transfer requirements in each country)

Tracking, Reporting & Systems

  • Maintain action registers and project trackers; ensure follow-through on commitments from operational reviews and leadership meetings
  • Work with internal systems (Lark Base) to build or improve trackers, dashboards, and automations supporting operational visibility
  • Report project status, risks, and blockers directly to the CEO with clarity and candour
  • Define and monitor operational KPIs tied to project outcomes (e.g., turnaround time, SLA compliance, transfer completion time)

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Align country leads, department heads, branch managers, and frontline teams on process changes and project deliverables across three markets
  • Facilitate working sessions, gather ground-level input, and resolve cross-team conflicts pragmatically
  • Drive adoption of new processes through communication, training coordination, and post-implementation follow-up

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in project management, operations, process improvement, or a similar execution-focused role
  • Experience in marketplace, automotive, e-commerce, logistics, or multi-site/multi-country operations is a strong advantage; prior exposure to Southeast Asian markets is highly valued
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum) is a plus, not a requirement

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills; able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping details
  • Structured problem-solver — comfortable mapping messy, undocumented processes and turning them into clear workflows
  • Proficient with productivity and workflow tools; experience with Lark Base, Notion, Airtable, or similar no-code platforms is highly valued
  • Solid data literacy: comfortable with spreadsheets, basic dashboards, and using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication in English; Bahasa Malaysia, Vietnamese, or Mandarin is a strong advantage for working across our markets
  • Comfortable presenting directly to C-level and holding senior stakeholders accountable to project commitments
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan, and spend time on the ground where the work happens

Mindset

  • High ownership — you see projects through to done, not just to "handed over"
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building zero-to-one in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Pragmatic over perfect: you ship workable solutions and iterate
  • Genuine interest in motorcycles or the automotive space is a bonus

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Health insurance

Work Location: In person
