About the Role

MiLA Asia is developing next-generation geotechnical engineering software for the construction industry. We are looking for a passionate Geotechnical Engineer to join our R&D team and transform engineering knowledge into innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the research, development, testing and validation of geotechnical engineering software.
• Translate geotechnical engineering design methodologies into practical software features.
• Verify software calculations based on engineering standards and best practices.
• Work closely with the software development team to improve software functionality and user experience.
• Prepare technical documentation, design examples, and validation reports.
• Provide technical support and software operation training to users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience. Fresh graduates majoring in Geotechnical Engineering are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and design practices.
• Experience in the design and analysis of:

1) Slope Stability Analysis

2) Soil/Ground Improvement & Treatment

3) Retaining Structures

4) Shallow & Deep Foundation

5) Settlement

• Familiar with Malaysian design standards and engineering practices.
• Experience using established geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar software is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Passionate about engineering innovation and software development.
