Program Manager – Cybersecurity

Location: Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia (RHB)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Program Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale Cybersecurity programs within a banking environment. This role requires an exceptional leader who can drive multiple strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, engage senior leadership, and ensure successful execution of complex cybersecurity transformation programs.

The ideal candidate is dynamic, proactive, results-oriented, and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels, including C-Level executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Cybersecurity programs.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects through Project Managers and technical teams.
• Develop and execute program strategies aligned with business and cybersecurity objectives.
• Partner closely with the CISO and senior leadership to define strategic roadmaps and execution plans.
• Drive governance, program planning, budgeting, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Present program status, risks, and strategic updates to executive leadership and steering committees.
• Ensure successful coordination across technology, security, infrastructure, business, PMO, and vendor teams.
• Monitor project dependencies, risks, budgets, timelines, and overall delivery performance.
• Build high-performing project teams while providing leadership, coaching, and direction to Project Managers.
• Drive continuous improvements in delivery governance, operational efficiency, and program execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of IT experience with extensive Program Management experience.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise programs.
• Strong experience managing multiple Project Managers and complex cross-functional projects.
• Hands-on experience delivering Cybersecurity or Information Security initiatives.
• Excellent executive presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working directly with CISOs and senior leadership teams.
• Strong expertise in Program Governance, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Budget Management, and Vendor Management.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
