Position Overview

HYDROTECH ENGINEERING PILE SOLUTION SDN BHD are Malaysian-owned professional engineering companies specializing in pile testing, foundation engineering testing, quality assurance, and consulting services for the construction industry.

The Pile Testing Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising and executing pile testing activities, ensuring all testing complies with project specifications, industry standards and company procedures. The role includes technical reporting, coordination with clients and consultants, troubleshooting site issues and ensuring testing quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

I) Site Planning & Coordination

• Plan and coordinate daily pile testing activities and site mobilization.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Verify testing locations, pile identification, manpower, and equipment readiness before testing.

II) Site Supervision

• Supervise technicians during field testing works.
• Ensure testing activities comply with approved procedures, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues during testing operations.

III) Technical Reporting

• Review testing data, analyse results, and prepare technical reports.
• Verify calculations and ensure reports are submitted accurately and within project timelines.

IV) Equipment Management

• Monitor testing equipment condition, calibration schedules, and maintenance records.
• Ensure all testing instruments are functioning properly before deployment.

V) Client & Quality Management

• Attend site inspections and witness testing with clients and consultants.
• Respond to technical enquiries and maintain professional client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, ISO documentation requirements, and project safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in piling, geotechnical, or foundation testing works is an advantage.
• Familiar with pile testing methods such as High Strain Dynamic Testing, CSL, Low Strain, Load Testing, and CAPWAP analysis.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and site coordination skills.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites throughout Malaysia.
• Possess a valid driving license.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
