We are looking for a motivated Industrial Engineer to support production planning, layout optimization, capacity improvement, and continuous improvement projects. This role provides fresh graduates with opportunities to participate in new factory and production line setup projects while developing practical skills in industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and project coordination.

1. Support production line layout planning, workstation design, and capacity analysis to ensure production targets can be achieved.

2. Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, Equipment, Quality, and other departments to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

3. Participate in new factory planning, production line setup, equipment arrangement, and production readiness activities.

4. Support continuous improvement projects, including automation implementation, process simplification, manpower optimization, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.

5. Collect and analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, improve workflow, and enhance production efficiency.

6. Apply industrial engineering tools and lean manufacturing principles to improve line balancing, cycle time, manpower allocation, and space utilisation.

7. Coordinate, track, and follow up on IKW and other improvement projects to ensure timely completion.

8. Prepare layouts, reports, presentations, and project documentation related to planning and improvement activities.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with internship or project experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, lean improvement, or production planning will have an added advantage.

3. Basic knowledge of industrial engineering and lean manufacturing concepts, such as line balancing, time study, capacity planning, productivity improvement, and waste reduction.

4. Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD drawing software, as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and engineering concepts into practical improvement actions.

6. Good communication and coordination skills, with the confidence to work with different departments and stakeholders.

7. Self-motivated, organised, and willing to learn, with good time management and execution skills.

8. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
