Our client, a leading global manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries and energy storage systems, is growing its Sourcing team. This is an opportunity to build and manage a strategic supplier network for the electronic components that power their next-generation products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and supplier development for PCBA components and electronic materials — think resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, and sensors.
• Grow a competitive, reliable supplier base spanning OEMs, authorised distributors, and qualified manufacturers.
• Run supplier qualification from start to finish — on-site audits (QSA), sample validation, and evaluation of small-batch production runs.
• Partner with R&D, Engineering, and Quality to fully understand BOM requirements, material specs, and reliability expectations.
• Keep the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and procurement records accurate, current, and traceable.
• Lead negotiations and cost analysis, driving year-on-year cost-reduction targets.
• Build long-term supplier relationships and track performance using a QCDS (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service) lens.
• Monitor pricing trends and supply risk in the market, putting safety stock and backup sourcing plans in place where needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years' experience in electronic component sourcing, PCBA procurement, or broader supply chain roles — background in electronics manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated sourcing, negotiation, and cost-analysis ability; hands-on familiarity with resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, sensors, and PCBA materials is a plus.
• Experience running supplier qualification processes, including audits (QSA) and AVL management.
• Comfortable working with BOM structures, electronic component specs, and manufacturing supply chain workflows.
• Keeps an eye on market pricing trends and applies practical supply-risk management approaches.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, results-driven setting.
• Detail-oriented problem solver, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
