We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our manufacturing floor, ensuring our automated production and packaging machinery runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Because we manufacture high-quality health, beauty, and food supplement products, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment that meets strict safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards. Your daily focus will be split between hands-on wiring/electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures on production machinery (e.g., mixing tanks, filling lines, capping machines, labelers, and conveyors).
• Wiring & Electrical Work: Read electrical schematics to safely wire, trace, and repair control panels, sensors, motors, switches, and relays.
• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform routine servicing, calibration, and parts replacement to minimize unexpected downtime and extend machine life.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all repairs and modifications comply with safety standards and cleanroom/GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines required for food and self-care products.
• Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the production team to optimize machine setups, reduce changeover times between product batches, and suggest equipment upgrades.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic in a manufacturing environment (experience in food, pharma, cosmetics, or supplements is a huge plus).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, wiring, and reading schematics.
• Solid mechanical aptitude (gears, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics).
• Basic familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automated sensors is highly preferred.
• Working Style: A strong problem-solver who can work under pressure when a line goes down. You must have a high attention to cleanliness and detail, given the nature of our products.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
