• Develop and plan menus based on customer preferences, market trends, and seasonal ingredient availability.
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily kitchen operations while assigning tasks to kitchen staff.
• Ensure all food orders are prepared accurately and served promptly.
• Maintain consistent standards for food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure all ingredients meet quality and freshness standards.
• Manage food costs by optimizing inventory usage and minimizing waste.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
• Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment and arrange for repairs when necessary.
• Train, mentor, and support the development of junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
• Monitor portion control to ensure consistency and cost efficiency.
• Address customer feedback regarding food quality and implement improvements where appropriate.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to achieve operational excellence and financial objectives.
• Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling operating expenses.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the planning and execution of special events, catering functions, and promotional activities.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency, food quality, and overall guest satisfaction.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
