About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer cum Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the video editing process from start to finish, ensuring the creation of high-quality video content that aligns with our brand identity and goals. You’ll work closely with our creative and marketing teams to bring concepts to life across various platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements, and internal communications.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot and edit high-quality videos and photos for marketing, social media, e-commerce platforms, and advertising campaigns.
• Produce engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
• Capture professional product photography and lifestyle content for website, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and promotional materials.
• Edit videos with subtitle transitions, captions, music, and effects that align with the Calla Beauty brand identity.
• Work closely with the marketing and content team to develop creative concepts and visual storytelling.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other production equipment during studio and outdoor shoots.
• Manage shooting schedules and ensure projects are completed within the required timeline.
• Organise and maintain digital assets, including raw footage, edited videos, and photo libraries.
• Ensure all visual content maintains a consistent brand image and high production quality.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and content formats to create engaging and high-performing content.
• Assist in covering company events, product launches, campaigns, TikTok Live, and behind-the scenes content.
• Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, and video optimization for different social media platforms.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in creating and editing short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong understanding of post-production workflow, color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to details.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passionate about social media, digital trends, and content creation.
• Strong communication in Bahasa (both spoken and written).

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Location: Jade Hill, Kajang, Selangor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
