Vacancy: Clinic Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated, responsible, and friendly Clinic Assistant to join our primary care clinic. If you enjoy helping people, work well in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to learn, we welcome your application.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and manage patient records accurately.
• Assist with patient registration, appointments, and queue management.
• Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and respond to patient enquiries professionally.
• Handle billing, payment collection, and issue receipts.
• Assist the doctor during consultations and minor procedures when required.
• Prepare consultation rooms and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Dispense medications according to the doctor's instructions under supervision.
• Maintain adequate stock of medications, consumables, and clinic supplies.
• Perform basic housekeeping to ensure the clinic remains clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Sterilize medical instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Assist in wound dressing, health screening, and other clinical procedures.
• Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Support administrative duties, including filing documents, preparing reports, and maintaining clinic records.
• Work closely with doctors and other staff members to ensure smooth daily clinic operations.

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum SPM qualification
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in a GP clinic, pharmacy, or healthcare setting is an added advantage but not a must.
• Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English (additional languages are a bonus).
• Computer literate and comfortable using clinic management systems.
• Honest, responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Friendly with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to multitask and remain calm during busy clinic hours.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to the clinic schedule.
