HR & Admin Assistant
About the Role
SurfsTeK Alliance Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Admin Assistant to support our Human Resources and Administration functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering efficient HR operations and administrative support.
Experience with Infotech HRMS & Thai Language will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers and offboarding.
- Administer attendance, leave, overtime and payroll-related records using the HRMS.
- Monitor employee attendance and prepare monthly attendance reports.
- Process and verify employee claims and ensure compliance with Company policies.
- Assist in payroll preparation and ensure timely submission of payroll information.
- Prepare HR letters, employment contracts, confirmation letters and other HR documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information.
- Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies, procedures and company announcements.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and training programmes.
- Handle office administration, stationery procurement and general administrative duties.
- Liaise with government authorities, external vendors and service providers when required.
- Support ad hoc HR and administrative projects assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant HR and Administration experience.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and HR best practices.
- Experience in attendance, leave administration, payroll support and employee claims.
- Experience using Infotech HRMS is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Positive attitude, meticulous and able to maintain confidentiality.
