Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and skilled Electrical Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems at sites. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Report equipment defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
• Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrading projects.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of work areas and tools.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, installation, or troubleshooting.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or on-call when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission Malaysia) Wireman Licence (PW2/PW4) or Chargeman Certificate (AO/A1/A4) is an advantage.
• Experience with industrial machinery, motor control systems, PLCs, or automation equipment is an added advantage.
